Help with tablet!

I believe my tablet is on it's last leg, and as a desperate leap, I'm coming here to ask for help!

My tablet got Pepsi inside it the other night, and my Mom and I let it drain out over night. It wasn't working that night, either. The blue light would come on, but the tablet wouldn't respond when you clicked with the mouse. (I didn't try the pen).

Now, it works half of the time, however, it completely messes up my computer. If plugged in, I cannot type without it being like someone's holding down the ctrl or alt key.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be? Should I take it in to get it looked at? Or should I contact Wacom, themselves to see what is going on?
. . . or do I just need a new mouse for my tablet? xD

Seriously, though. I do need some answers. >.<; This is the only thing I've got!
